Do I have to give charity if I am a º£½ÇÂÒÂ×?
º£½ÇÂÒÂ×s "purify" their wealth by giving away a portion of it every year in charity. All º£½ÇÂÒÂ×s with excess wealth must pay Zakat which amounts to 2.5% of their net savings. This obligation differs from the charity practices or regulatory systems found in other religions.
